Robert Roy Simmers

Robert Roy Simmers , 46, of Midland, Pa., died Tuesday, May 23. 1972, in his
home.

He was born in Worthington, May 23, 1926, the son of Olive Ruth (Hawkins)
Simmers and the late William O. Simmers.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Robert was a WW II veteran.

He had lived in Midland for 17 years and was employed as a meat cutter for
Loblaw's Market, Beaver Falls, Pa.

Surviving are his wife, Lydia (McCollim) Simmers; two daughters, Sharon Simmers
at home, and Linda A. (Donald R.) Cafrelli of Aliquippa, Pa.; two brothers,
Walter R. Simmers of Cleveland, Ohio, and Elmer H. Simmers of Worthington, Pa.;
one sister, Mrs. Dorothy Irene Cravener of Worthington, Pa.

Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by a young sister, Vera M.
Simmers.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 26, 1972, at 1 p.m. in the
Richard Churchfield Funeral Home, Fifth Avenue, New Kensington, Pa. Rev.
Theodore H. Althof, pastor of First Lutheran Church, New Kensington, will
officiate.

Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, Pa.
