Martha Belle Billings Uber
Martha Belle Billings Uber, 70, of Kinsman, Ohio, died Thursdays at 10:30 p.m.
in her home, July 10, 1997.
She was born August 31, 1926, in East Franklin Township, Kittanning, Pa., a
daughter of George W. and Mary B. (Fails) Billings.
Martha attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, and was a member of
Worthington Baptist Church, Worthington, Pa., in her formative years.
Her husband, Pressley Scott Uber, whom she married July 27, 1946, died Sept. 7,
1996. They had lived in Kinsman since 1946.
Martha enjoyed playing bingo.
Survivors include a son, Roger Lee Uber of Liberty, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs.
Joyce Ann Kanchok of Vernon, Ohio, Mrs. Donna Jean Davis of Johnston, Ohio, and
Mrs. Shirley Mae Berry of Greenville, Pa.; a sister, Mrs. Mary Jane Wood of
Walbridge, Ohio; a brother, George W. Billings Jr. of Hebron, Ind.; nine
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Baumgardner Funeral Home in
Kinsman.
Her cremains will be buried in Kinsman Cemetery, Kinsman, Oh.
