James Arthur Aiken

James Arthur Aiken, 85, of Worthington, Pa., passed away Saturday, June 29,
2013, in St. Andrew's Village, Indiana, Pa.

He was born August 8, 1927, in Worthington, the son of the late Arthur L. and
Evelyn (White) Aiken.

He was a 1945 graduate of Worthington High School, Worthington, Pa., and later
received a bachelor's degree from Grove City College, Grove City, Pa

Before his retirement, James was employed by U.S. Steel in Pittsburgh as a
manager.

He was a World War II veteran, having served in the Navy. Before returning to
the area, James lived in Leesburg, Fla., for 17 years. He was an avid golfer.

He is survived by a daughter, Marsha Lynn Brown and her husband, Ralph, of
Saltsburg, Pa.; two grandchildren, Ian McKay Brown and his wife, Meribeth, of
Clyde, Pa., and Michelle Lynn Kisiel and her husband, Ken, of Acworth, Ga.; five
great-grandchildren, Abigail, Nathan, Hannah and Jacob Brown, and Allison
Kisiel; and a sister, Stella Louise Waliga, of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Marie
Snyder Aiken, on May 17, 2006; one brother, John Munson Aiken on Oct. 26, 1975;
one sister, Jane Dravo Kyle Menzies on Jan. 24, 2001.

At his request, there will be no public visitation or services. 

Interment will be held in Bushnell National Cemetery in Fl.
