Glenna Audene Shay Long

Glenna Audene (Shay) Long, 49, of RD 1, Worthington, Pa., was dead on arrival at
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, Pa., at approximately 10:55 p.m.
Saturday, October 6, 1973.
 
Born July 8, 1924, at Furnace Run (East Kittanning Township), she was the
daughter of William and Frances (Champion) Shay.
 
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mrs. Long was employed by the hospital in its housekeeping department.
 
Survivors include her husband, Charles H. Long; two sons, Charles L. Long of RD
1, Worthington, and David A. Long at home; two daughters, Mrs. Sidney (Barbara
Jean) Bowser of Twinburg, Ohio, and Cindy Long at home; and three
grandchildren.
 
Also surviving are three brothers, William Shay of RD 3, Kittanning, Arnold Shay
of Worthington and Edgar Shay of RD 1, Fenelton, Pa.; one sister, Minnie
Bargerstock of Craigsville, Pa.
 
Friends of Glenna Audene (Shay) Long, 49, who died October 6, 1973, may call at
the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington. Visitation hours are 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 1973, at the funeral
home, officiated by the Rev. Richard C. Main, pastor of the Templeton Church of
God, Templeton, Pa.
 
Burial will be in the Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
