Clifford Jerome Hodak

Clifford Jerome Hodak, 50, of the Lyndora Hotel, Butler, was dead on arrival
Sunday night, December 19, 1976, at the Butler County Memorial Hospital. He had
been in ill health for several months, and was recently a patient at the Butler
Veterans Administration Hospital.

Born January 25, 1926, in Fenelton, he was the son of the late Evan and Margaret
(McCall) Hodak.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a disabled construction worker, and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.

He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 249 of Butler, American
Legion Post 778 of Lyndora, the Slovak Sokol of Lyndora, and the Buffalo Valley
Sportsman's Club of Worthington.

Surviving are a son, Theodore Hodak in California; three brothers, George Hodak
of Butler, and Louis J. and Robert C., both of Worthington; two sisters, Mrs.
Finney (Josephine) Voelkel of Kittanning M.R. 10, and Mrs. George (Mary Grace)
Szalankiewicz of Worthington.

Friends of Clifford J. Hodak of the Lyndora Hotel, Butler, who died Sunday, Dec.
19, 1976, will be received at the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington, form
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m.
Wednesday from St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville, with the Rev.
Francis A. Glenn, pastor of St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, Butler, officiating.


Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Fenelton, Pa.
