William Carl Bowser

William Carl Bowser, 49, of Fenelton R.D. 1, died unexpectedly Saturday
afternoon, December 27, 1975 at his home, of an apparent heart seizure.

Born in Worthington, May 7, 1926, he was the son of Lawrence W. and Clara Belle
(Clark) Bowser.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was employed for 25 years by T.W. Phillips Gas and Oil Company as a meter
repairman.

He was a member of the McKee Chapel, the William H. Miller Lodge 769, F and AM,
the Utility Workers Union of America, and the Buffalo Valley Sportsman's Club in
Worthington.

He had served in World War II in the Merchant Marines, in the Philippines and
the Manila area, and was also drafted into the United States Army and received
the Army of Occupation Medal and the World War II Victory Metal.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Martha Marie (Flick) Bowser; a son, Joseph Carl
Bowser at home; two daughters, 2nd Lt. Deborah Ann Bowser at the Mt. Home Air
Force Base, Idaho, and Terri Sue Bowser at home; his father, Lawrence W. Bowser
of Mercer, and his mother, Mrs. Clara Belle Bowser Harrison of Kittanning.

Friends of William Carl Bowser of Fenelton R.D. 1, who died Saturday afternoon,
Dec. 27, 1975, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham
St., from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 1:30
p.m. Tuesday from the funeral home, with the Rev. John F. Osborne, pastor of
McKee Chapel officiating.

Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
