Vernon Clair Kutsch

Vernon Clair Kutsch, 79, of Kittanning died March 19, 2005 in Armstrong Co.
Memorial Hospital.

Born August 3, 1925, in Kittanning,a son of Robert and Nora (Corbett) Kutsch. 
He lived there all his life. Mr. Kutsch was retired from the Armstrong School
District.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

An Air Force veteran, he served in World War II as a sergeant. 

Mr. Kutsch was a member of First Church of God in Kittanning and the VFW. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing in numerous bands over the years.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Diane Roll and husband, Michael, of San Diego and
Debe Marrapode of Kittanning; a granddaughter, Nicole Marrapode of San Diego; a
grandson, Andrew Marrapode; 2 brothers, Robert Kutsch Jr. of Kittanning and
Wilbert Kutsch of Freeport; and 3 sisters, Roberta Uptegraph of Freeport,
Mildred Uptegraph of Salem, Ohio, and Lois Adams of Stoystown.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nora (Corbett) Kutsch; 3
sisters, Lillian Foreman, Evelyn Kutsch and Dorothy Anthony; and 2 brothers,
Edward Kutsch and Jay Young.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
Snyder-Crissman Funeral Home, Inc., 200 S. McKean St., Kittanning where funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with his pastor, the Rev. Larry
Messick, officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of God, 629 Woodward
Ave., Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
