Richard James Anthony, 49, of 1602 3rd Ave., Ford City, Pa., died at 1:35 p.m.
Friday, November 8, 1974, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning,
Pa.

Born July  7, 1925, at Craigsville, Pa., he was the son of Richard A. and Minnie
Etta (Smith) Anthony.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He served with the U.S. Marines during World War II.

He had been employed by U.S. Steel Corp. at Youngstown, Ohio.

Surviving in addition to his parents of Criagsville are his wife, Mrs. Mary
(Peltz) Anthony; a sister, Mrs. George T. (Arbutus Jean) Hellam of
Mechanicsburg, Pa.; a brother, Barye Wayne Anthony of Worthington.

Friends of Richard James Anthony, 49, of 1602 3rd Ave., Ford City, Pa., who
died, Friday, November 8, 1974, will be received after 2 p.m. today at Faykosh
Funeral Home, Ford City. Service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, November 11, 1974, at
Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington. The Rev. Walter D. Galbraith, pastor
of Grace Lutheran Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
