Marie Faye Stouffer Burke

Marie Faye Stouffer Burke, 81, of Fenelton, died Thursday, December 6, 2007, at
Chicora Medical Center.

She was born September 29, 1926, in Kittanning, a daughter of the late Audley M.
and Hazel M. (Hepler) Stouffer Smith.

She graduated in 1944 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Mrs. Burke was a cutter at Castle Rubber in East Butler, where she retired after
25 years.

She was a member of St. Johns Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, and enjoyed
camping and wintering in Florida.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis J. Burke of Butler and Kenneth Earl Burke of
Florida; four granddaughters; five great-granddaughters; one great-grandson, and
an aunt.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Burke, who died December 24,
1997; her stepfather; sisters Helen J. Springstead, Margaret G. Shoemaker,
Violet Anthony, Cora Jean Parker, and a brother, Charles Samuel Stouffer, Sr.

Friends of Marie F. Stouffer Burke, who died Thursday, December 6, 2007, will be
received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at F. DUANE SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, 424
Bear St., Worthington. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Johns
Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville with the Rev. Kenneth Kezmarsky, pastor,
officiating. 

Burial will be in St. Johns Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Fenelton, Pa.
