Johnny Lloyd Goepfert
Johnny Lloyd Goepfert, 51, of Craigsville, died Sunday morning, May 21, 1978, at
Butler Veterans Administration Hospital.
Born January 9, 1927, in Butler, he was the son of Johnny W. and Julia
(Lichanec) Goepfert.
He graduated in 1944 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He was a member of VFW Post 363 of Kittanning.
He had been employed by Pullman Standard of Butler.
Mr. Goepfert was a veteran of World War II, having served with the U.S. Navy.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Johnny W. Goepfert of Craigsville, a
son, John J. Goepfert of Butler; a daughter, Kimberly Sue Goepfert of Butler;
three brothers, Richard G. of Verona, W. Gary of Butler, and Lowell F. of
Cowansville; and two grandchildren.
Friends of Johnny Lloyd Goepfert, 51, of Craigsville, who died Sunday, May 21,
1978, will be received at the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington, form 7
to 9 p.m. Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday from the
funeral home with the Rev. Dean R. Lingle, pastor of Worthington Lutheran
Church, officiating.
Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery, Hannahstown, Pa.
