Alice Mabel Anthony Miller

Alice Mabel Anthony Miller, 61, of 118 Milheim Dr., Butler, Pa., died suddenly
Monday, October 26, 1987, in Lumberton (N.C.) Hospital. She had been en route to
Florida with he husband.

Born in Craigsville, April 13, 1926, she was the daughter of Chart Ezra and
Helen Dora (Bowser) Anthony.

She graduated in 1944 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

Mrs. Miller was a member of North Main Street Church of God and the adult Sunday
school class.

Surviving are her husband, Dale C. Miller, whom she married July 12, 1946; two
daughters, Mrs. Robert P. (Kathleen) Phares of Red Springs, N.C., and Mrs.
Richard M. (Donna) McCann of Butler; a son, Fred K. Miller; three sisters, Mrs
Irwin (Jane) Bowser of Worthington, Mrs. Robert (Helen) Leiner of Seminole,
Fla., and Mrs. Charles (Leona) Shearer of Memphis, Tenn.; two brothers, Norman
Anthony of Craigsville and Glenn of Worthington; four grandchildren; and a
number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, Francis, Walter and Victor and a
sister, Hazel Hawk.

Friends of Mrs. Alice L. Miller, 118 Milheim Dr., who died Monday, Oct. 26,
1987, will be received at the Thompson-Miller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St.,
Butler, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 1
p.m. Friday from the funeral home, with N.K. Powell, pastor emeritus of North
Main Street Church of God, officiating. 

Burial will be in Butler County Memorial Park, Butler, Pa.
