Charles Irwin Yockey

Charles Irwin Yockey, 73, of Pontiac, Mich., died Saturday, April 12, 1997.

He was born October 18, 1923, in Armstong County, Pa., to Ulysses Boyd and
Delilah Jane (Lemmon) Yockey.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Loving grandfather of Andrew, Charles, Robert, and William Yockey; beloved
brother of Eugene W. Yockey, Ruby A. Rugini, and James H. Yockey; dear friend of
Janet Fox; also survived by daughter-in-law Diane Schigur and several nieces and
nephews. 

He was preceded in death by wife, Dorothy in 1994, and a son, Charles E. Yockey,
in 1984.

Mr. Yockey was retired from G.M. and had served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

Friends of Charles Irwin Yockey, 73, who died Saturday, April 12, 1997, will be
received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Voorheis, Siple & Summerford
Funeral Home, 268 North Perry St., Pontiac.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 14, 1997, 11:00 a.m. at the funeral
home.

Interment Perry Mt. Park Cemetery, Pontiac, Mi.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
