Margaret Louise Turberville Yockey
Margaret Louise "Yodeler" Turberville Yockey, 67, of Worthington R.D. 2, died
Wednesday, November 4, 1992, at Sugarcreek Rest.
Born December 23, 1924, in Worthington, she was the daughter of Joseph and
Goldie (Reesman) Turberville.
She was a 1943 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa
She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Chicora.
Mrs. Yockey also belonged to the auxiliary of the American Legion Post 642 of
Chicora, the Sugarcreek Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the
Over-The-Hill C.B. Club.
Surviving are her husband, Walter A. Yockey, whom she married in 1949; and a
brother, Joseph A.Turberville of Worthington R.D. 1.
She was preceded in death by a brother, William J. Turberville and two sisters,
Helen Kirkwood and Ida.
Friends of Margaret "Yodeler" Yockey, 67, of Worthington R.D. 2, who Wednesday,
Nov. 4, 1992, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Friday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington. Funeral
services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the funeral home with the Rev.
Frank Sapp, pastor of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Chicora, officiating.
Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Chicora, Pa.
