Pasquale Joseph Sallustio

Pasquale Joseph "Patsy" Sallustio, 86, of Dublin, Ohio, died Friday, July 1,
2011, in Dublin. 

He was born January 6, 1925, in Worthington, a son of the late Joseph Sallustio
and Francis (DeNardo) Sullustio.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa. 

He lived in Youngstown, Ohio, for 44 years and Columbus, Ohio, for 11 years. 

He retired from U.S. Steel Corp. in Youngstown in 1980. 

A veteran of World War II, he served in the Army Air Corps. He received the
American Theater Ribbon, European Theater Ribbon, Bronze Star, Good Combat Medal
and World War II Victory Medal. 

He was a member of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Youngstown,
VFW Darby Post in Plain City, Ohio, Worthington American Legion, Sons of Italy
in East Brady and a charter member of Buffalo Valley Sportsman Club. 

He enjoyed going to clubs and spending time with family and friends. 

Survivors include his son, Pasquale Sallustio and his wife, Debbie (McKee), of
Dublin; grandchildren, Marie and James Centafanti, of Youngstown, Ohio, and
Sarah and Matthew Confer, of Shippenville, Pa.; a brother, Lethur Sallustio, of
Pittsburgh; sister, Julie Kersul, of Worthington; and great-grandchildren,
Nicole, Jammie, Alyssa and Emily. John Romo, who was like a son to him, and his
family, Lynn, Seth and Ashlyn, of Powell, Ohio, also survive. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vienna
(LaRocca) Sallustio; and a daughter, Theresa (Sallustio) Sacchini. 

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Wednesday
in St. John's Roman Catholic Church, Coylesville. 

Interment will in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
