Louis John Hodak

Louis John Hodak, 76, of Worthington R.D. 1, died Sunday, December 19, 1999.

Born in Kittanning, November 10, 1923, he was the son of John and Margaret
(McCall) Hodak.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He retired from Eljer Co. after 30 years.

Mr. Hodak was a member of St. John Roman Catholic Church of Fenelton R.D. 1,
Kittanning Knights of Columbus and the Cowansville American Legion. He was a
member and former commander of the Kittanning VFW Post and a member and former
treasurer of the Buffalo Valley Sportsman Club.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and collecting arrowheads.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise (Sarachine) Hodak; two sons, William
Joseph and Jeffrey Allen Hodak, both of Worthington; a daughter, Mrs. Karen Ann
Burger of Bullhead City, Ariz.; a brother, George Hodak of Butler; a sister,
Mrs. Josephine Voelkel of Kittanning; seven grandchildren; and two
great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Robert and a sister, Mary
Szlankiewicz.

Friends of Louis John Hodak, who died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1999, will be received
from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear St.,
Worthington. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with
the Rev. Louis Pascazi, his church pastor, officiating. 

Burial will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
