Betty Lou Henry

Betty Lou Henry, 76, of Brookside Assisted Living, Brookville, formerly of
Sarasota, Fl., passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2002 in Brookside.

She was born July 1, 1926 in Curwensville, Pa., the daughter of Albert Leroy and
Mary M. (McNeil) Henry.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

She was a 1948 graduate of Carnegie Mellon Univeristy in Pittsburgh, where she
earned her bachelor's degree.  She graduated in 1962 from Penn State University
with a master's degree in nutrition.

Miss Henry was a nutrionist and  was a self-employed consultant for Campbell
Soup Co., New York University Medical Center and Bill Hazzard Photo Studio.  She
was the food editor for the Farm Journal Inc., supervised test kitchens and
planned and wrote food stories and assisted in the preparation, writing and
editing of cookbooks

She returned to Pennslyvania from Florida because of health reasons.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the Goble Funeral Home of
Clarion with the Rev. Arnold A. Rhodes, pastor of First United Methodist Church,
officiating.

Interment will follow in Mount Tabor Cemetery, Sigel, Pa.
