Robert Wayne Davenport

Robert Wayne Davenport, 79, of Kittanning RD3, died Sunday, May 30, 2004 at
Sugar Creek Rest.

He was born May 28, 1925 in Worthington to Raymond and Dealores (Toy)
Davenport.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Davenport was a retired forman from Logan Clay Products.

A Navy veteran, he served with the SeaBees.

His memberships included the Kittanning-East Brady Lodge 244 F&AM, New Castle
Consistory, Syrian Shrine, Worthington American Legion and BPOE 203 in
Kittanning.

He enjoyed camping and gardening.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Mildred (Burford) Davenport, whom he
married Sept. 19, 1947; one daugher, Deborah Davenport of Kittanning, two
sisters, Maxine Bowser and husband Frank, and Nancy Wagner, both of Worthington;
and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, Jay Davenport.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Wednesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Bear Street, Worthington where
funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. David Caves
officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington. Pa.
