Vera Merle Cobb Knapp Michalek
Vera Merle Cobb Knapp Michalek passed away January 9, 1999, at the time she was
living in a nursing home in the Washington, Pa. area.
She was born October 22, 1925 in Marianna, Pa., the daughter of the late Pastor
Seth and Gladys (Fulton) Cobb.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She was a graduate of the Katharine Gibbs Secretarial School in Pittsburgh and
the Altoona Bible Institute.
She worked during high school and after for the Davis Gospel Team that
brodcasted on WMBS radio station in Uniontown.
She is survived by her sisters Evelyn Keefer of Brownsville, Pa., Helen Nagy, of
Florida, Wilma Hollman, of California, Pa., and Joanna Gillow, Prompton, Pa.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband, Anthony and brother, Harold.
Interment at Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
