Ethel Viola Clark Branan
Ethel Viola Clark Branan, 48, of Worthington RD2, died Tuesday, May 1, 1973, at
Roswell Park Memorial Institute in Buffalo, N. Y., after a lingering illness.
Born March 2, 1925 in West Franklin Township, (Armstrong Co.) she was a daughter
of Marie (Linnan) Clark and the late Herbert V. Clark.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Mrs. Branan was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church at Worthington.
In addition to her husband, surviving are her mother, Mrs. Marie Clark of
Worthington RD 1; three sons, Larry, stationed with U. S. Air Force in Dover,
Del., Herbert and Ernest, both at home; a daughter, Mrs. James (Gloria) McCarty
of Butler; two brothers, Earl Clark of Hartland, Mich., James Clark of
Worthington RD 1; a sister, Mrs. Charles (Marie) Kepple, Jr. of East Brady; four
grandchildren.
Friends of Mrs. Harry O. (Ethel V.) Branan, who died May 1, 1973, will be
received at the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington. Visitation hours are 7
to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and at the Evangelical
Lutheran Church in Worthington one hour prior to service, 11 a.m. Friday,
conducted by her pastor, the Rev. Charles Stadler.
Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
