Dorothy Grace Broderick Brumbaugh

Dorothy Grace (Broderick) Brumbaugh, 85, of Kittanning, Pa., passed away Monday,
November 21, 2011 at her residence.

She was born on February 20, 1926 in Betavia, New York to James William and Mary
A. (Delore) Broderick.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Dorothy was employed with the former Clark's Grill of Kittanning as a waitress
for many years, retiring in 1975. 

She was a member of St. Mary's Church of Yatesboro, Pa. and her deep faith in
God was noticed by all who knew her. 

In her spare time, Dorothy enjoyed shopping and watching television. She was at
her happiest when spending time with her family, and they will always remember
the love and devotion she showed to them throughout the years.

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: Samuel L. (Janet L.) Brumbaugh of
Ford City, Pa., and Thomas G. (Renate K.) Brumbaugh of Kittanning; six
daughters: Janice L. Wright of Chicago, Ill., Cheryl D. (Michael D.) Mooney of
Katy, Texas, Connie J. (Randal L.) Walker of Rural Valley, Pa., Donna M. (David
W.) Zeigler of West Kittanning, Pa., Sharon L. (Mark R.) Hankey of Rural Valley
and Sheila E. King of Rural Valley; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren;
and her loving dog, Maggie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 28 years, Edward
James Brumbaugh, who passed away October 19, 1973; infant daughter, Deanna Lynn
Brumbaugh; three brothers; Leo, Bernard J. and Kenneth Broderick; and four
sisters, Marjorie Crome, Elizabeth "Betty" Butler, Hazel Smith and Helen Roy.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, November 23,
2011 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home in Elderton, Pa. There will
be no visitation on Thursday, November 24, 2011.

A Blessing Service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the
funeral home with the Rev. Raphael K. Glinkowski, O.S.P. officiating. 

Interment will be at Gastown Cemetery, Shelocta, Pa.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Armstrong
County Unit, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
