Arthur Rex Sallustio
Arthur Rex "Art" Sallustio, age 93, of Carrick, passed away peacefully on
Sunday, August 6, 2017.
He was born February 29, 1924, in Worthington, a son of the late Joseph
Sallustio
and Francis (DeNardo) Sullustio.
He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
Art loved the outdoors and was a lifelong member of Clairton Sportsman's Club,
an avid bowler, and a veteran of WW II.
Beloved husband of 53 years to the late Mary Sallustio; father of George J.
(Sue), Arthur F., Joseph (Lynne), Joann Scherer (James) and Frances (Keith)
Nagel; grandfather of 11; great-grandfather of four; son of the late Joseph and
Frances Sallustio; brother of Julie (the late Frank) Kersul.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Pasquale.
Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100,
4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood, 15227, Thursday, August 10, 2017, from 2-4 and
6-8 p.m.
Funeral Prayer on Friday morning at 9:45. Mass of Christian Burial in Holy
Apostles Parish, St. Wendelin Church at 10:30 a.m.
