Sarah Anna Saylor Crawford
Sarah Anna (Saylor) Crawford, 90, of Worthington, Pa., died Monday, July 21,
2014, at Armstrong County Health Center, Kittanning, Pa.
She was born November 24, 1923, in Buffalo Valley, West Franklin Township, a
daughter of the late James S. and Buelah A. (Blymiller) Saylor, and was a
lifelong resident of the area.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She worked at Moonlight Mushrooms, Worthington, for 35 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen Sue Crawford, of Worthington; two sons,
LeRoy Charles Crawford, of Slippery Rock, Pa., and William Crawford (Karen), of
New Orleans, La.; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 35
years, Charles Crawford, in 1976; sister, Joy Shankle; two brothers, Russell
"Dale" and Boyd "Bussy" Saylor; one grandson; one great-grandson; and one
great-granddaughter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the F. DUANE
SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, Worthington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday
with the Rev. William Mumaw Jr. officiating.
Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sarah's honor to Armstrong County
Community Theater c/o F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home.
