Albert Isadore Hamovitz

Albert Isadore Hamovitz, 71, passed away Friday, July 1, 1994, while living in
Rockwood, Michigan.

He was born in Allegheny County, on May 22, 1923, a son of Joseph Mayer and
Esther Anna (Danlowitz) Hamovitz. 

He attended Worthingon-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He served in the army during 1944-1945.

He worked for Bill Korn Plumbing Co. and partnered with his brother, Neil, in
Hambro Plumbing for a short time.  He was medically retired from Ford Truck
Stamping Plant in Detroit, Michigan.

His hobbies were bowling and he belonged to the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma A.; one daughter, Shirley Jean Michaels,
Swissvale, Pa. and two sons, Michael E. (Joy Beth) Hamovitz, Lawton, Okla. and
Bernard Jay Hamovitz, Dearborn Heights, Mich.; four brothers Michael Eli
Hamovitz of Philadelphia, Pa., Herbert Hamovitz of Mesa, Arizona, and Neil
Hamovitz of Export, Pa.; twin sister of Neil, Ruth Sanes of Schenectady, New
York, and sister, Mollie Thelma Gordon of Pittsburgh.

In additions to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Harry
Hamovitz.

He was buried in a small Jewish cemetery outside of Pittsburgh Pa.
