Lula Mae Bowser McQueeney

Lula Mae Bowser McQueeney, 62, of Sligo RD1, died Saturday, March 28, 1987, in
the West Unit of the Franklin Regional Medical Center, Franklin.

She was born September 25, 1924 in Worthington, to the late Matthew and Viola
(Bowser) Bowser.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

In her earlier years she attended Worthington Presbyterian Church and was a
member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the Auxiliary of Rimersburg.

Mrs. McQueeney had been employed by K-Mart at the Clarion Mall, Clarion as a
restaurant worker before her illness.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas S. McQueeney; one son, Paul Bowser of
Worthington; one step-son, Gary McQueeny of Daytona Beach, Fla.; four sisters,
Mrs. Donald (Velma) Simmers, Mrs. Paul (Vera) Crawford, Mrs. Larry (Grace)
Kline, all of Worthington, and Mrs. Wringold (Doris) Smith of Butler; two
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Bowser; one brother, Herbert
Bowser; and two step-sons, Douglas M. McQueeney and Michael C. McQueeney.

Friends of Lula Mae McQueeney, 62, of Sligo RD1, who died, Saturday, March 28,
1987, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Tuesday at the Richard D. Hillis Funeral Home, Rimersburg, J.D. Miller,
supervisor, where services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday. 

Burial will follow in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
