Rosanna Ruth Shearer
Rosanna Ruth Shearer, 52, of Munhall died Thursday, October 7, 1976 after
suffering with cancer.
She was born February 10, 1924 in Youngstown, Ohio, to Adam Earl and Hazel A.
(Bowser) Shearer.
She graduated in 1942 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was also a graduate of Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and the
Baptist Institute of Philadelphia.
Rosanna was a nurse at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., for many years and
a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her father, Adam Earl Shearer of Homestead; one sister,
Marilyn Frances (Gordon M.) French of Long Beach, Calif.; two nieces, Susan Gail
(Michael) Bram and Carol Ann (Dale) Pettit and one nephew, Alan Earl French all
of Long Beach, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel A. (Bowser) Shearer, Mar., 1976.
Family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the George Irvin
Green Funeral Home, 3511 Main St. (Homestead Park), Munhall. Services will be
held at Saturday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Joseph Sullivan officiating.
Interment will take place at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa.
