Dwight Edgar Bouch

Dwight Edgar Bouch, 84, of Kittanning, died Tuesday, October 13, 2009, at
Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. 

He was born November 30, 1924, in Worthington, Armstrong County, to Clarence and
Nellie (Barr) Bouch.

He was a 1942 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa


Mr. Bouch attended Pine Creek Baptist Church and was a resident of the
Kittanning area most of his life. 

He was also a member of the Worthington American Legion Post 828, the
Kittanning-East Brady Masonic Lodge No. 244, the Shriners and the Coudersport
Consistory. 

Mr. Bouch served in the Army during World War II. 

He worked as a brick layer and truck driver. Dwight worked for Pollocks for more
than 30 years as an equipment operator prior to his retirement in 1987. 

He loved staying at his camp, being in the outdoors, taking long walks and
target shooting. Dwight had a great sense of humor and would do anything for
anyone. His true admiration came from helping others and spending time with his
family and friends. 

He is survived by a stepson, Donald Templeton and wife, Molly, of Ridgeway; a
stepdaughter, Catherine Wheat and husband, Robert, of Worthington; eight
grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; one
sister, Jeanette Andre, of Chicora; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Catherine J. Bouch, whom
he married June 12, 1965, and who died June 5, 2000; and his brother-in-law,
Leroy Andre. 

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the
BAUER FUNERAL HOME, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning. Additional visitation will be
held from 10 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the
funeral home with the Rev. John A. Smith officiating. 

Interment will follow at Pine Creek Baptist Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa., where
military honors will be conducted by the American Legion honor guard.
