Mabel Yvonne Bowser Adams

Mabel Yvonne Bowser Adams, 76, of R.D. 2, Worthington, Pa., died Sunday,
February 11, 2001, at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, (East Franklin
Township)
Kittanning, Pa.

Born in Worthington, June 13, 1924, she was the daughter of Edward A. and Hattie
B. (McDermott) Bowser.

She was a 1942 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

She was a member of the Worthington Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Altar
Guild of the church.

Mrs. Adams retired from Castle Rubber in East Butler, Pa., in 1989 and was a
volunteer for the Civic Center and the Lions Club in Worthington.

Surviving are three children, Thomas J. Adams of Parker, Pa., Terry L. Adams of
R.D. 1, East Brady, Pa., and Ronald E. Adams of Worthington; five grandchildren;
five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a
sister, Roberta Bell Good of Worthington.

Her husband, Carl Adams, died Oct. 21, 1980. An infant son, three brothers,
Howard R. "Bud Bowser, Edward A. Bowser, Jr. and an infant brother, Raymond; and
six sisters, Viola P. (Bowser) Bowser, Delores I. Ambrose, Vivian Blose, Ada M.
Morrison, Mary Lou Morrison, and LoVella Bowser who passed away very young.

Friends of Mabel Y. Adams, 76, who died Sunday, Feb. 11, 2001, will be received
from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, 424 Bear
St., Worthington. Services at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Evangelical Lutheran
Church in Worthington.

Interment in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
