Dorothea Maxine Bauer Cochrane

Dorothea Maxine Bauer Cochrane, 87, of Vienna, OH, passed away late Sunday
evening at May 29, 2011 at Renaissance North in Warren, OH.

She was born in Worthington, PA on December 30, 1923, a daughter of the late
Harry L. and Sarah O. (Swartzlander) Bauer.

Dorothea was a 1942 graduate of Worthington High School and had most recently
worked for the former Valley View Department Store as a Receptionist for more
than fifteen years before her retirement.

She was a former member of the Vienna United Methodist Church where she had
baked for many church dinners over the years. She was a member of the Order of
the Eastern Star in Girard, OH, and in her free time enjoyed bowling, crafting,
and sewing.

Dorothea is survived by her daughter Jacqueline Cochrane and her partner Dan of
Candler, NC, her son Lyle Wade Cochrane of Howland, OH, a close friend Leonard
Everett of Vienna, three sisters Annamae Anderson of Butler, PA, Olive Best of
Emlenton, PA, Joye Knight of Knox, PA, and by her brother Ross Bauer of
Franklin, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Rodney R. Cochrane, and her
sisters Verna Flick and Mary Jane Bowser.

Private Funeral Services will be held on Thursday evening June 2, 2011 at the
Madasz Funeral Chapel 6923 Warren-Sharon Road in Brookfield, OH.

Interment with her son Rodney in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
