Dane O'Neil Claypool
Dane O'Neil Claypool, 72, of Worthington R.D. 1, died Friday, March 22, 1996 at
Sugar Creek Rest, Inc., Worthington R.D. 2.
He was born March 6, 1924 in Worthington to Harry O. and Eva M. (Forester)
Claypool.
Mr. Claypool was retired since 1984 from PennDot, Indiana Office, where he was
employed as an assistant district engineer.
He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II, where he served
with the Ninth Infantry Division.
He was a Protestant.
A "Class of 1941" graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School. Mr.
Claypool was also a graduate of "The Citadel", Charleston, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, Ann E. (Helsel) Claypool, whom he married on Nov.
18, 1954; one daughter, Valerie Claypool of Worthington; and one brother, Harry
S. Claypool of Mechanicsburg, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother; Carl Raymond Claypool,
Oct. 10, 1985. |
