George Lum Kerr

George Lum Kerr, 69, of Worthington, died Friday, October 14, 1990, at Armstrong
County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.

Born May 19, 1921, in Echo, he was the son of the late Thomas M. and Elizabeth
(Scott White Munn) Kerr.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Kerr retired in 1984 from the Pangborn Corp. in Butler. He was a veteran of
World War II, having served in the Army.

He belonged to St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville, Worthington Lions
Club, Worthington American Legion, Butler Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Tri
County Music Association.

Surviving are two sons, George W. Kerr and Jack M. Kerr, both of Worthington; a
daughter, Linda E. Kerr of Worthington; six grandchildren; three sisters, Flora
Benton and Margaret Younkins, both of Butler, and Elizabeth Prince of
Worthington. Also surviving is a good friend, Roberta Good of Worthington.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean (McGrady) Kerr, in 1975; two
brothers, Thomas Kerr and Robert Kerr; two sisters, Agnes and Jessie.

Friends of George L. Kerr of Worthington, who died Friday, Oct. 14, 1990, will
be received from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the
F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
conducted at 10.am. Monday at St. John Roman Catholic Church, Coyleville, with
Rev. John Palko, pastor, officiating.

A wake service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in St. Johns Cemetery. Coyleville, Pa.
