Mildred Ruth Templeton Cessna Coffman

Mildred Ruth (Templeton) Cessna Coffman, of Templeton, formerly of
Connoquenessing and Pensacola, Fla died at 3am Friday, September 10, 2004 at her
two-week residence at Fellowship Manor, Pine Township, Mercer County. 

She was born April 18, 1923 in West Franklin Township to Elmer Conrad and
Margaret Emily (Stewart) Templeton. 

Mrs. Coffman was a registered nurse for the Veteran's Administration Hospital in
Butler, retiring after 23 1/2 years. 

She was a 1941 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School and Butler
Memorial Hospital School of Nursing. 

She was a United Methodist. 

Her other memberships were the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary. 

Survivors include one son, Thomas A. Cessna Sr. of Grove City; two stepsons,
William D. Coffman Jr. of Kalispell, Montana and Robert E. Coffman of
Downingtown; two stepdaughters, Theda K. Stevens of Phoenix, Arizona and Sandra
Slusher of Imperial Beach, California; 15 grandchildren; one brother, William E.
Templeton of Rocky Mount, Virginia and two sisters, Sara T. Clowes of Saxonburg
and Margaret T. Shick of Pensacola. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, George F. Cessna
whom she married Dec. 26, 1946 and who died Dec. 23, 1960 and her second
husband, William D. Coffman, Sr. whom she married April 18, 1964 and who died
Jan. 12, 2004. 

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Cunningham
Funeral Home, Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City, where funeral services will
be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. John "Jack" Patterson, chaplain of Orchard
Manor officiating. 

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Orchard Manor Nursing Home, Activities
Department, 20 Orchard Drive, Grove City, PA 16127.
