Ellen Marie Sowers Raimond
Ellen Marie Sowers Raimond passed peacefully on Saturday, August 19, 2006.
Born April 11, 1923, in Kittanning, she was the daughter of Charles and Mary
(Kyle) Sowers.
She was a 1941 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She worked as a secretary at Saint Patrck Church, Pittsburgh, Pa. for a number
of years.
Beloved wife of the late Joseph Raimond; loving mother of Louis Raimond (Jean),
Joseph Raimond (Corrine Lantz) and Terry Raimond (Vinny Scully);
survived by loving brothers Marvin Charles Sowers and Robert Kenneth Sowers;
maternal grandmother to Christie and Lauren Gaita.
Friends will be received on TUESDAY ONLY from 2-4 and 6-8 at the EDWARD P. KANAI
FUNERAL HOME, 500 Greenfield Ave. Funeral Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. with Funeral
Mass in St. Rosalia Church at 10 a.m.
Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh, Pa.
