Joseph Marcellus O'Donnell
Joseph Marcellus O'Donnell, 74, of Monroeville, passed away on Sunday, May 10,
1998.
He was born September 13, 1923, in Allegheny Co., to Francis A. and Nellie
(Kerrigan) O'Donnell.
He was a 1941 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
Mr. O'Donnell was a veteran and retired as a major in the US Army Infantry.
He is survived by a two daughters; Susan C. O'Donnell Loffredo, and Evalyn L.
O'Donnell Kirk both of Monroeville; two brothers, Francis A. O'Donnell Jr., and
J. Patrick O'Donnell of West Mifflin; grandfather of Shannon Louise Kirk.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife, Janet Louise O'Donnell in
1994; one sister, Mary Jane Cassidy, June 27, 1984.
Friends of Francis Marcellus O'Donnell, who died Sunday, May 10, 1998, will be
received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the
James F. Filia Funeral Home, 354 Marquerite Avenue, Wilmerding. Mass of
Christian Burial at St. Bernadette's Church, Monroeville, on Thursday at 10:30
a.m.
