Rose Rita John MacArthur
Rose Rita John MacArthur, our beloved family member, passed peacefully on
December 18, 2013.
She was born March 9, 1924, in Pennsylvania, a daughter of Louis and Mary Ann
(Cannarsa)John.
She was a 1941 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was a resident at the Boulevard Nursing Facility on South Boulevard in
Rochester Hills for the past five years.
She was married for 24 years to William MacArthur who has passed many years
ago.
We will always remember Rose with love and keep her in our prayers. Rose was
always a loving presence in our lives. She had touched many of the lives of the
caregivers at The Boulevard with her love and always appreciated the efficient
daily care rendered by everyone in their routine services.
Surviving family members are daughter Kathy MacArthur, nephew Jeffrey John, wife
Jane, and daughter Jenna, son Jarod, and her sister-in-law Barbara John.
Her family will miss her and yet we also know she is with the family who has
gone before her, her husband William, brother Henry John, sisters, Helen Brown
and Ann John, her parents Mary Ann and Louis.
Visitation Saturday, December 21, from 1 p.m. until service at 3 p.m. at the
Kinsey-Garrett Funeral Home, 420 S. Lafayette, Royal Oak, MI 48067.
