Francis James Edgington

Francis James Edgington, 66, of Hobart, Ind., died Wednesday, February 21, 1990,
at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart.

He was born September 20, 1923 in Worthington, Pa. to James P. and Agnes
(Easley) Edgington.

He was a 1941 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
PA.

Mr. Edgington retired from Mid-West Steel Corp. with 20 years service. A World
War II Army veteran, he was also a member of American Legion Post 777 in
Indianapolis, Ind., and a member of the United Steel Workers of America No.
6103.

Survivors include his wife, Olga A. Edgington; one daughter, Mrs. James (Pamela)
Hale of Indianapolis, Ind.; two brothers, James Thomas Edgington of Fairborn,
Ohio and Paul Laverne Edgington of Hunington Beach, Cal.; two sisters, Mrs.
Dorothy Alice Dunn of Florence, S.C. and Mrs. Geraldine Ruth Bundy of
Worthington and one sister-in-law, Grace Edgington of Buffalo
Valley-Worthington, Pa.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bernard Edgington, and Arthur Melvin
Edgington that passed away on January 15, 1986.

Friends of Francis James Edgington, 66, of Hobart, Ind., who died Wednesday,
February. 21, 1990, will be received from noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at
the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home in Worthington, where funeral services will be
held Monday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thomas J. Bertolina of St. Mary's Roman
Catholic Church, Kittanning, Pa., officiating.

Burial will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
