Earl nmn Bowser

Earl Bowser, 78, formerly of Butler Road, Kittanning, died Monday, October 29,
2001 at the Kittanning Care Center. 

He was born March 11, 1923 in West Franklin Township to Daniel S. and Della
(Miller) Bowser.

He was a 1941 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa. 

Mr. Bowser was a supervisor for B & G Construction, Kittanning. 

An Army veteran, he served during World War II. 

A member of the Franklin Union Baptist Church, Worthington, he attended the
First Baptist Church, Kittanning. 

His other memberships included the Kittanning Veterans of Foreign Wars. 

He enjoyed gardening especially flowers. 

Survivors include two sisters, Hulda Slaysman of Baltimore and Mrs. Donald
(Jean) Bish of Schertz, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Ralph E., Arnold W. and
Walter J. Bowser; and three sisters, Gertrude E. and Martha Bowser and Alene
Reed. 

Friends of Earl Bowser, 78, formerly of Butler Road, Kittanning, who died Oct.
29, 2001, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Bauer
Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, where funeral services will be held
at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Frederick Young officiating. 

Interment in Franklin Union Baptist Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa. 

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin Union
Baptist Church, Worthing-ton, Pa. 16262 or First Baptist Church of Kittanning,
Pa. 16201.
