Martha Elizabeth Olszak Febinger

Martha Elizabeth Olszak Febinger, 80, of 3419 Wayside Drive, passed away,
Monday, January 7, 2002, at her residence.

She was born October 25, 1921, in Wampum, Pa.; a daughter of the late Andrew J.
and Pearl (Sobczak) Olszak and moved to the area 54 years ago.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mrs. Febinger was an assistant buyer for Strouss Department Store in
Youngstown.

She was a member of Good Hope Lutheran Church and its woman's group, the
Priscilla Circle.

Her husband, Joseph H. Febinger, who she married March 28, 1938, died July 9,
2000.

She is survived by a son, Joseph R. Febinger of New Middletown; two daughters,
Patricia Tomsheck of Kenosha, Wisconsin and Shirley Hamm of Struthers; three
brothers, Frank J. Olszak of Austintown, Andrew P. Olszak of Fenelton, Pa., and
John S. Olszak of East Brady, Pa.; four sisters, Gertrude A. Flecher of
Youngstown, Ohio, Ceclia M. Edwards and Catherine M. Swartzlander both of
Fenelton, Pa., and Mary Ann Southworth of Butler, Pa.; six grandchildren and
seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 10, 2002 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Clemente Funeral
Home in Struthers, Ohio, and Friday one hour prior to services at the church.
There will be services on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Good Hope Lutheran Church in
Boardman, Ohio.

Interment in Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown, Oh.
