Richard Glenn Collar

Richard Glenn Collar, 63, of Cowansville R.D. 1, died Sunday morning, May 22,
1983, in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning.

Born March 25, 1920, in West Franklin Township, Armstrong County, he was the son
of Walter and Sarah (Wolfe) Collar.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

Mr. Collar was a self employed trucker and had served in the U.S. Army during
World War II.

He was a member of Worthington Evangelical Lutheran Church, the Worthington
American Legion, Kaylor Grange, and the Sugar Creek Senior Citizens.

Surviving are his wife, Avonel (Shankle) Collar, three sons; Larry B. Collar of
Kittanning R.D. 3, Gary D. Collar of Butler, and Donald P. Collar of Freeport; a
daugher, Mrs.David (Susan J.) Jack of New Castle; two brothers, Harry Collar of
Cowansville R.D. 1, and John A. of Kittanning R.D. 1; two sisters, Mrs. Frank
(Margaret) John of East Brady and Mrs. Bruce (Eleanor S.) Davis of Kittanning;
and nine grandchildren.

Burial in Worthington Lutheran Church Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
