Doris Elizabeth Bowser White
Doris Elizabeth Bowser White, 21, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Friday, May 21, 1943
in a Cleveland Hospital after giving birth to a daughter.
Born February 8, 1921, in East Franklin Township, daughter of Nicholas Clark and
Emma (Powell) Bowser.
She graduated with the class of 1940 from Worthington-West Franklin High School,
Worthington, Pa.
She was a homemaker and was raised on the Bowser Farm several miles north of
Worthington on the Worthington/Cowansville Road.
Survivors include her husband, John L. White and infant daughter, Rebecca June
White; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. N. Clark Bowser of Worthington R.D. 1; eight
brothers, Sidney Lloyd Bowser of Cleveland, Ohio, John Gilpin Bowser of
Cleveland, Ohio, Roger Lewis Bowser, Edward Ivor Bowser, Andrew Craig Bowser,
Herbert Clark Bowser, Donald Lee Bowser and Gerald Powell Bowser all of
Worthington R.D. 1; three sisters, Mary Virginia Hindman of Cleveland, Ohio,
Emily Margaret Morgan of Kittanning, Pa., and Martha Ann Bowser of Worthington,
R.D. 1.
She was predeceased by an infant sister, Ruth Bowser, June 15, 1932.
Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa. |
