June Eileen Claypool Smock
June Eileen Claypool Smock, 94, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Turtle
Creek, Pa.
She was born April 26, 1915, in Vandergrift, Pa., the daughter of Nicholas P.
and Iva M.(Bowser) Claypool.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
For many years she was employed at the Worthington Mushroom Mine, Worthington,
Pa.
She attended Worthington Baptist Church early on and then later in life the
Union Baptist Church, Kittanning, Pa.
She is survived by a son; Thomas Guy Smock of Turtle Creek, Pa., and two
daughters; J. Eileen (John) Gibson of Conway, SC. and Mary Catherine (Paul)
Lesebure of Lawrence, MA. and a brother; Donald King Claypoole of Greentown,
Pa. Eleven loving grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Arthur Newton Smock and
a son James Smock. Also, four brothers; Walfred N. Claypool, Guy McKinley
Claypool, Jack Ross Claypool and Paul Mervin Claypool.
Interment in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
