Norman Keith Steele
Norman Keith Steele, 73, of Edinboro Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Route 92,
Edinboro R.D. 2, died Friday, June 19, 1992, at the nursing home.
Born December 28, 1918, in Worthington, he was the son of Carroll and Martha B.
(Snyder) Steele.
He was a 1939 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
He was a veteran of WW II and served in the Army for 11 years. He was a member
of Worthington Baptist Church.
He is survived by his second wife, Maryetta Steele; his first wife and the
mother of his children, Donna Elaine (Stewart) Ball; two sons, Dennis Keith
Steele and Mark Steven Steele, both of Erie, Pa.; three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence
G. (Charlene Adele) Blood of Girard, Pa., Mrs. Gerald (Janice Alene) Lauer of
Erie, Pa., and Mrs. Robert (Norma Jean) Ward of Edinboro, Pa.; 12 grandchildren;
and three brothers, Wm Robert Steele of Wilburton, Okla., Leslie C. Steele of
Kittanning, Pa., and Samuel R. Steele of Chicago, Ill.
He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Lee Steele; a daughter, Martha Steele;
two brothers, James Lee Steele and Richard K. Steele; two sister, Eleanor Steele
and Margaret B. Lewis.
Friends of Norman K. Steele of Edinboro Manor Nursing Home, formerly of Route
92, Edinboro R.D. 2, who died Friday, June 19, 1992, will be received at the F.
Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Worthington, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with a
nephew, the Rev. Carl Steele, officiating.
Burial will be at Montgomeryville Baptist Cemetery, Adrian, Pa.
