Gertrude Alice Olszak Flecher

Gertrude Alice Olszak Flecher, 87, of Youngstown, Oh., died unexpectedly on
Friday, June 1, 2007 at her residence.

Born September 14, 1919, in Wampum, Pa.; a daughter of the late Andrew J. and
Pearl (Sobczak) Olszak.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
 
Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Edmund A. Flecher and three daughters
and their spouses; Linda K. (James M.) Tamelcoff of Oh., Mary L. (Richard M.)
Rihely of Beaver Falls, Pa., and Alice (Jeffrey L.) Falba of Austintown, Oh.;
one son, Philip E. Flecher, of Tampa, FL.
 
She is also survived by three brothers; Frank J. Olszak of Austintown, Andrew P.
Olszak of Fenelton, Pa., and John S. Olszak of East Brady, Pa.; three sisters;
Ceclia M. Edwards and Catherine M. Swartzlander both of Butler, Pa., and Mary
Ann Southworth, of Summerville, Pa. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren and 6
great grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha E. Febinger, on Jan. 7, 2002, and
a grandson, Chad Flecher.

Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Sunday, June 3 at the Marshall
Funeral Home, 341 Main St., Wampum, Pa.

Funeral services will be held at the Marshall Funeral Home on Monday, June 4,
2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis L. Bupp, Chaplain of Jameson Hospital
officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in New Castle, Pa.
