Myra Elizabeth Livengood
Myra Elizabeth Livengood, 86, of Freeport, died Thursday, October 19, 2006, at
Kittanning Care Center, Kittanning Township.
She was born November 11, 1919, in Kittanning, to Ervin M. and Nancy E.
(Claypool) Livengood.
She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.
She was a member of the Union Baptist Church, North Buffalo Township.
She worked on her family farm in South Buffalo Township most of her life.
Myra volunteered for many activities at the Freeport Towers, and she enjoyed
crafts and gardening.
She is survived by her brother, Frank Livengood, and wife, Virginia, of South
Buffalo; one niece, Nancy DeVore, and husband, Donald, of South Buffalo; and two
nephews, Jeffery Livengood and wife, Connie, of Templeton, and Bruce Livengood,
of Kocoma, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ivan Livengood.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Redmond
Funeral Home Inc., 524 High St., Freeport, where funeral services will be held
at noon Saturday with the Rev. Jonathan Hill officiating.
Burial will be in Slate Lick Cemetery, Kittanning, Pa.
