Katherine Pearl Klugh Parker

Katherine Pearl Klugh Parker, a five-year resident of Grove Manor, Grove City,
Pa., passed away at 8:10 a.m. Monday, March 19, 2007, in Grove Manor after an
extended illness. 

She was 87. Mrs. Parker was born November 30, 1919, in Worthington, Pa., to
Lonnie Ellwood Klugh and Florence Belle (Beck) Klugh.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa. 

She was a sales clerk at the former G.C. Murphy Co. and J.C. Penney Co., both
Grove City. 

A homemaker, Mrs. Parker was a member of East Main Presbyterian Church; Order of
the Eastern Star Chapter 86; and Order of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Shrine
53, all Grove City. 

Her husband, Charles C. "Mick" Parker, whom she married May 24, 1941, passed
away August 24, 1997. 

Surviving are three sisters; Mrs. Harry (Opal Natalie) McManus, Ford City, Pa.,
Mrs. William (Barbara Joanne) Harmon, Kittanning, Pa., Mrs William (Georgia Lee)
Shay, Grove City; and two brothers, James L. Klugh, Greensburg, Pa., and Willard
Roland Klugh, Akron, Ohio. 

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, stepfather, John
Reighard; a brother, Raymond Ellwood "Bud" Klugh who died March 5, 1988; and two
sisters, Willena Yvonne Santana who died March 6, 2005 and Florence E. Priester
Miller who died November 24, 1995.

Katherine P. Parker, 87, Grove City. Calling hours: 2 p.m. to
time of service Friday, March 23, 2007, at 4 p.m. in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME
Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. The Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor
of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, officiating. 

Interment in Findley Cemetery, Mercer, Pa.
