Charles Robert Hogg SR

Charles Robert Hogg, Sr., 58, of 5 Church St, Star Junction, Pa. a former
resident of Worthington, Pa. died Monday, January 2, 1978, afternoon at his
residence.

Born February 7, 1919 in Worthington, he was the son of the late Hamilton S. and
Bertha (Bundy) Hogg.

He was an Army Veteran of World War II and was employed as a material engineer
for the Clairton Flag Company, West Elizabeth, Pa.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agnes (Smith) Hogg; fours sons, Charles Robert
Hogg, Jr. of Jeffersonville, Ind., Thomas Hamilton Hogg of Slippery Rock, Pa.,
David Daniel Hogg of Star Junction and Jason S. Hogg of Smithfield, Pa; five
daughters, Mrs. Richard (Dianne) Hohn of Fenelton, Pa., Mrs. Judith Josephine
Crissman of Kittanning, Pa., Mrs. William (Patricia Jane) Wyant of New
Kensington, Pa., Mrs. Larry (Bettysue) Crissman of Frankfort, Germany and Wendy
Hogg at home.

Also surviving are four brothers; Clarence Walter Hogg of RD 6, Kittanning,
Frank R. Hogg of RD 7, Kittanning, James Meredith Hogg of Renova, Pa. and Donald
Hamilton Hogg of RD 1, Worthington; three sisters, Mrs. Ira (Emma Irene) Gates
of Batavia, New York, Mrs. George (Jean Marie) Giff of RD 1, Worthington, Mrs.
Carl R. (Betty Lou) Claypool of Mechanicsburg, Pa. and his step-mother, Mrs.
Twila Hogg of Brockway, Pa.; nine grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.

Friends of Charles Robert Hogg Sr., who died Monday, January 2, 1978, will be
received after 4 p.m. Tuesday at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning.
Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in United Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
