Frederick Orman Edwards

Frederick Orman Edwards, 54, of RD 3, Ford City, Pa., died yesterday, Thursday,
November. 15, 1973, at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital following a 2 1/2
month illness.

The son of late Orman Brison Edwards and Bessie Hazel (Claypoole) Edwards, he
was born June 3, 1919.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

He was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church (Bethel Township/Armstrong County) and
had been employed as a laborer by Schenley Distillers Inc. (Gilpin Township),
Schenley, Pa.

Survivor include his wife, Ruth (Rumbarger) Edwards; sons, Frederick Edwards of
RD 7, Kittanning, Pa., and DannyEdwards of Shinglehouse, Pa.; a step-son, Larry
Elgin of Tarentum, Pa.; a daughter, Mrs. John (Lois) Fleming of RD 1, Shelocta,
Pa.; three sisters, Hazel Irene McMillen of RD 1, Worthington, Mrs. Robert
(Helen Josephine) Hufhand of Manorville, Pa., Mrs. Earl Calvin (Mary Louise)
Bundy of Worthington; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Friends of Frederick Orman Edwards, who died November 15, 1973, are being
received from 7 to 9 this evening and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 Saturday, November 17 at
the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington, Pa. Services will be 2:30 p.m.
Sunday, November 18, 1973 at the funeral home with his pastor, the Rev. John
Ludwig, officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, Pa.
