James Robert Hutchinson

James Robert Hutchinson, 74, of 3 Lanckton Court, Pittsfield, Ma., died
Wednesday, October 20, 1993 at Hillcrest Hospital, Pittsfield.

He was born on March 27, 1919, in Butler, Pa., son of the late John S. and
Margaret L. (James) Hutchinson.

He graduated in 1938 from Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa., and attended college.

He was a World War II veteran.

Mr. Hutchinson was employed by GE a a computer programmer in the naval ordinance
division for 35 years, retiring in 1981.

He was a member of the GE Pensioners and Quarter Century clubs and after
retiring enjoyed working on automobiles.

He and his wife, the former Anna Healey, celebrated their 50th wedding
anniversary Sept 29.

Besides his wife, he leaves a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Huber of Pittsfield; a
son James F. Hutchinson of Newton, Mass.; a brother Thomas W. Hutchinson and a
sister Mrs. Ruth Dosch both of Kittanning, Pa.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, John D. Hutchinson and William M.
Hutchinson.

Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, Oct. 22, 1993, at Dery
Funeral Home, Pittsfield, Mass. The funeral service will be held Saturday, at
8:15 a.m. from the funeral home with a Lithurgy Christian Burial celebrated at 9
a.m at St. Joseph's Church. Calling hours at the funeral home will be today from
4 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Pittsfield, Ma.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church or to a charity of ones
choice.
