Thelma Agnes Helsel Czapor Hansen Bofinger
Thelma Agnes Helsel Czapor Hansen Bofinger, 96, of North Buffalo died Friday,
February 19, 2016 in Erdley's Personal Care Home in Rayburn.
She was born August 14, 1919 in North Buffalo to F. Michael and Lenora (Fink)
Helsel.
She was a 1938 graduate of Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.
She was retired from the Income Maintenance Department of the Pennsylvania
Department of Welfare, and previously worked at Willis-Heilman Real Estate, and
W. J. Good Roofing and Siding.
She was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Worthington.
Survivors include one daughter, Carol (Czapor) Ignaczak and husband, Vic, of
North Buffalo; grandson, Mark Ignaczak of Pittsburgh; one brother, Lt. Col.
James Helsel of Lawton, Okla.; and sister, Ann Claypool of Worthington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard Bofinger.
Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Kennedy & Blodgett Funeral
Home, Inc., 253 N. Grant Ave., Kittanning. Funeral services will be private.
