Floyd Edwin McMillen

Floyd Edwin McMillen, 46, Worthington R.D. 2, died at 7:00 a.m. March 26, 1965
of an apparent heart attack, while at work at Pullman-Standard in Butler where
he was employed as a welder.

Born May 17, 1918, in Butler County, he was the son of Thomas A. and the late
Mary J. (Thompson) McMillen.

He attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington, Pa.

A veteran of World War II, he had served as a sergeant in the 16th Ordnance
Company in Germany.

He was a member of the Craigsvillle Methodist Church and the Penn-Y-Coin Club of
Kittanning.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Hazel Harkleroad McMillen; two sons, Ray and
Franklin, and a daughter Suzanne at home; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Shirley Duttry of
Butler R.D. 1; his father, Thomas A. McMillen of New Kensington; four brothers,
Daniel, Charles, and Thomas McMillen all of Lackawanna, N.Y., and Herman of
Detroit, Mich., seven sisters, Mrs. Harry (Nancy) Tantlinger of New Kensington,
Mrs. Bernard (Alma) Sipes of Kittanning R.D. 3, Mrs. Robert (Ella) Haggerty of
Tarentum, Mrs. Walter (Daisy) Uliskey of Parma Heights, Ohio, Mrs. Justin
(Verdie) Double of Wesleyville, Mrs. William (Anna) Clepper of Cowansville, and
Mrs. Lewis (Phyllis) Sack of New Kensington.

Friends of Floyd E. McMillen of Worthington R.D. 1 who died Thursday, March 25,
1965, will be received at the James A. Flick Funeral Home, Worthington, from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.  Funeral services will be held at 2
p.m. Sunday from the funeral home with the Rev. Donald P. Rainey, pastor of the
Craigsvillle Methodist Church, officiating, assisted by the Rev. David E. Martin
of the Franklin Union Baptist Church, Worthington.  

Burial will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetary, Worthington, Pa.
