Violet June Claypoole Williams

Violet June Claypoole Williams, 19, passed away Saturday morning, September 2,
1939 at St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh.

She was born, June 17, 1919, in Worthington to Chambers Herculess and Edith B.
(Snyder) Claypoole.

She attended Worthington-West Franklin High School, Worthington,
Pa.

She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Williams Sr; one daughter, Connie Alene
Williams; one son, Frank L. Williams Jr. both at home; and also her parents,
Chambers and Edith Claypoole; five brothers, Carl J. Claypoole, Roy V.
Claypoole, Randall S. Claypoole, Edgar L. Claypoole, Chamber H. Claypoole, Jr.;
three sisters, Genevieve C. Kueppers, Cella Marie Toy, and Juanita Lillian
Claypoole.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence R. Claypoole, August 31, 1939.

The Franklin Union Baptist church was filled Monday afternoon, September 4, 1939
when funeral services were held for a sister of Clarence R. Claypoole, where
services were held for Clarence on Saturday, September 2, 1939. Mrs. Frank
Williams, passed away at St. Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh, Saturday morning,
September 2, 1939.

Services were conducted by Rev. Bevington, Rev. Cobb, and Rev. Bailey.

The choir sang "We'll Say Good Night Here But Good Morning Up There." Mr. Palm
and daughter sang "In The Upper Garden." and Rev. Bevington, "Will the Circle Be
Unbroken?"

The church was banked with many beautiful flowers. The floral tributes were
carried by friends of Mrs. Williams.

Pallbearers, cousins of the deceased, were Mrs. Celia Andre, Mrs. Frances
Patton, Mrs. Ethel Norton, Mrs. Beatrice Smith, Mrs. Mildred Oleson, Mrs.
Florence McDonald, Miss Margaret Bowser and Miss Freda Claypoole.

Interment was made in the family plot in the Franklin Union Baptist Church
Cemetery, Worthington, Pa.
